Saturday, October 3, 2020 9:00am-4:00pm
Children's Hospital Conference Center, 210 State Street, New Orleans.
The mission of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Louisiana is to provide a “home-away-from-home” to families of seriously ill or injured children and to provide programs that give comfort, compassion and care to children and their families.
The Westbank Optimist Club is a non-profit group of like-minded, community involved individuals who have been dedicated to serving the youth of Jefferson Parish. Our club follows Optimist International's Mission/Vision Statement: "By providing hope and positive vision, Optimists bring out the best in kids."
Louisiana Kids Inc. was formed to focus on the God given Talents of our children, while using the Performing Arts as our Vehicle to develop self esteem and character in children three years of age to senior in high school.
No more than six acts will be allowed in the performance auditorium at a time and each act may have no more than two guests. There will be a maximum of 18 audience chairs set up in six groups (3 chairs each) spaced six feet apart. There will be no more than 9 acts, with their guests, allowed inside of the entire building at any one time.
Each performer will be provided with a disposable microphone cover (courtesy of Karen Bradshaw) and microphones will be sanitized between each performance. Everyone entering the building must undergo a non-contact temperature check and agree to wear a mask at all times, except while performing.
Weather permitting we will open the side porch doors to allow for greater airflow and to give those outside the opportunity to enjoy the performances and to cheer on the competitors. There are a few picnic tables around the facility and plenty of shade from the oak trees. There will be no concessions but feel free to bring your own snacks, drinks and folding chairs.
